Between 17 and 21 July 2025 a delegation of Busworld International represented by Vincent Dewaele (General Manager), Olivia Wang (王静, General Manager China) and Hannes Huyghe (Marketing & Communications) visited several companies in China to promote the upcoming launch of Busworld Plaza and the Busworld exhibitions in 2025-2026.
Dongfeng Dana Axle Co., Ltd.
As one of the biggest Chinese commercial vehicle axle manufacturers with around 3,350 employees at present, Dongfeng Dana Axle Co., Ltd. is a key player on the bus and coach market in China, and is increasingly getting a foothold in other regions around the world. Busworld met with Mr. Jun Wang, VP and CTO of the company, and his team with regards to a future collaboration. Making use of the Busworld online and offline platforms they are hoping to become a global player.
Shanghai Lantise New Material Co., Ltd.
General Manager, Mr. Jetlee Hu, explained the Busworld team about his company's activities as a flooring manufacturer who's mainly active in the RV (recreational vehicle) and commercial vehicle industry in China, but also abroad in Dubai and Europe. Busworld is very grateful to have Shanghai Lantise New Material Co., Ltd. as one of the first Sellers active on Busworld's brand new online platform Busworld Plaza, eager to expand their international business.
Sunwin
Headquartered in Shanghai, Shanghai Sunwin Bus Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the SAIC Motor Corporation, one of China's largest automotive manufacturers. Sunwin sells between 2,000 and 3,000 units annually.
Busworld had a fruitful meeting with Mr. Donhui Tang and the Overseas team of Sunwin. They are very much looking forward to their first participation as an exhibitor at Busworld Europe from 4-9 October 2025. The whole team is in full preparation to get their vehicle and chassis in time in Brussels and start entering the European electric bus market.
Sinovation EV
Dr. Junhui Shi and his team warmly welcomed the Busworld team in Beijing. Sinovation EV is a fairly new player on the market, but already counting 400 employees, 3 R&D Centers and 2 production sites in China and fast growing. Sinovation manufactures turnkey solutions including vehicle controllers, integrated controllers and electric powertrains for e-buses and coaches. Among their customers we can find big EV manufacturers as Yutong, King Long and Foton.

At the end of the trip Busworld was welcomed at Foton by Mr. Hogan Liu and Mr. Jihong Liu to discuss future cooperation possibilities between the 2 companies.
