Daimler Buses' Head of Global Sales, Roman Biondi, visited PT Tentrem Sejahtera (Tentrem Bus), one of Indonesia's leading bus manufacturers, in Malang, East Java, on Tuesday (February 10, 2026).
Biondi was accompanied by Dhananjay Chavan, General Manager of Bus Sales, CSP & Truck Sales for Daimler Truck Asia in Singapore; Naeem Hassim, President Director of PT Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI), and his two deputies, Faustina Tjandra and Adri Budiman.
The group was received by Tentrem Bus Founder, Tatang Wahyudi, and Tentrem Bus President Director, Yohan Wahyudi.
"We are very pleased with Mr. Biondi's visit. Daimler Buses, through PT DCVI, has been a long-standing partner of ours. We are honored to meet and exchange ideas with the Daimler Buses team. In addition to strengthening our collaboration, we also look forward to the future development of the sustainable bus transportation industry in Indonesia," said Yohan.
Roman Biondi, who was visiting a bus factory in Indonesia for the first time, expressed his excitement. Daimler Buses wants to demonstrate its brand presence in Europe, Latin America, and Indonesia. He views the Daimler Buses team's visit as part of its strategy in Asia.
Indonesia is a key market for Daimler Buses, a key player in the Southeast Asian region. Biondi is looking forward to meeting with bus manufacturing partners in the country.
During his visit to Tentrem, the group witnessed the production process, from chassis acceptance to completion of the finished buses. Biondi was impressed with Tentrem Bus's products as he sat in one of its popular customer models, the Avante Grand Captain, which is about to be delivered to customers.
"We are very grateful for this visit. We hope our collaboration with PT DCVI will continue to grow. One of our missions is to provide the best bus transportation across all roads in Indonesia," said Yohan.
